Omniva (Eesti Post)
Eesti Post, Estonia's largest postal services company, is also an international logistics company. The Estonian state wholly owns it and has consolidated most of its services under the Omniva brand since June 2014. Eesti Post has been around for quite some time, tracing its roots back to the national postal service that had a monopoly on postal services until the opening of the Estonian postal market. Even with significant reductions, Eesti Post still has Estonia's most extensive service network, boasting 398 postal institutions as of August 2011. The government's order transformed the company into a joint-stock company in 1997. Eesti Post operates 265 post offices, with 187 located in rural areas. However, by November 2022, the number of post offices will be reduced to 182.
